8.6 DEFROST

The automatic defrost switches off the compressor and condenser fan and switches
on the Hot Gas defrost solenoid. Any ice that may have built up on the evaporator
is then melted and proper operation of the refrigeration unit is ensured.
The software automatically sets the duration and the frequency of the defrost
  operation.
For example if Tmin the lowest temperature, is set at a low temperature
  then the defrost
period will be longer and more frequent than if Tmin is set higher

The automatic defrost duration sets the value in minutes for the
defrost cycle to last.  The time starts from the opening of the hot gas
  valve.
The duration varies typically from two to three minutes depending on the
  value set for Tmin
To set this value use the numerical keyboard and confirm with the ENTER
  key.
Setting the parameters to ‘0’, the defrost function will not
  be activated

The default values are typical values they may need to be adjusted according
to other factors such as ambient temperature, filling frequency, humidity
