This sub menu is used to inhibit sales of certain products during particular
time periods
8.1 SETTINGS
8.2 LANGUAGE
It allows the user to select the language of operation of the machine.
To select use the numerical keyboard to the number corresponding to the required
language
and press ENTER.
8.3 PASSWORD
Access this sub-menu to modify the password for access to programming, use
a 5 digit password and make sure you store the number safely (use with caution).
8.4 TIME & DATE
Set the Time & Date with this menu
8.5 TEMPERATURE Settings
The submenu for setting the temperatures is accessible from the SETTINGS
MENU and all the key settings and alarms can be set from this sub-menu
There
are 5 values that can be set from this menu
T min = Lowest temperature.
When the inside temperature reaches this temperature,
the compressor is switched off.
T max = Start temperature.
When the inside temperature reaches this temperature,
the compressor will start operating.
T all = This temperature setting, when reached, will
put the machine
Out of Service. The Error Code 21
will show on the display.
DEmerg = Maximum Time the machine will run at Tall before
before displaying Out Of Service
The
duration is expressed in Seconds.
This function activates after reaching the alarm temperature.
DEcomp = Maximum time the compressor is allowed to run for after Tmin
Has
been reached then Out Of Service is displayed
The duration is expressed in hours.
To program the values, move up or down the submenu. Use the numerical keys
to increase or
decrease the existing value. through the arrow keys A and B. Use
the ENTER key to confirm each
value. Continually pressing the ENTER key will return you to the SETTINGS
MENU’.
8.6 DEFROST
The automatic defrost switches off the compressor and condenser fan and switches
on the Hot Gas defrost solenoid. Any ice that may have built up on the evaporator
is then melted and proper operation of the refrigeration unit is ensured.
The software automatically sets the duration and the frequency of the defrost
operation.
For example if Tmin the lowest temperature, is set at a low temperature
then the defrost
period will be longer and more frequent than if Tmin is set higher
The automatic defrost duration sets the value in minutes for the
defrost cycle to last. The time starts from the opening of the hot gas
valve.
The duration varies typically from two to three minutes depending on the
value set for Tmin
To set this value use the numerical keyboard and confirm with the ENTER
key.
Setting the parameters to ‘0’, the defrost function will not
be activated
The default values are typical values they may need to be adjusted according
to other factors such as ambient temperature, filling frequency, humidity

8.7 LIGHTS SCHEDULE
This menu manages the time at which the fluorescent tubes are
switched on and off
8.8 MACHINE TYPE
From this submenu the basic configuration of the machine is established and
the type of payment
system used. All values are entered using the front keypad.
ATTENTION. Be careful when you alter these settings as
they will change
the way the machine operates.
8.9 SALE
It allows you to select either Single or Multi Vend sales.
Assigning O to the selected line means only One vend
is permitted with all change returned
Assigning 1 to the selected line the operation means Multi vends
can be made, providing there
is sufficient credit. Change is returned by pressing the Coin Return button
(ANNULA)
8.10 switch of moving message or logo
It inhibits the movement of the logo on the screen to save memory.
Use it when the machine is connected to an external connection, serial or
modem.
To inhibit the logo or moving message enter the value '0'
8.11 PRICE HOLDING
Only to
be used if the prices in the coin mechanism correspond with the
prices
stored in the machine
8.12 KEY ENTER
If activated with a 1 the Enter key must be pressed after each
selection before a vend can be made
8.13 FANS STOP
With the selection ‘0’ the fans
work continuously
For
a normal operation use the value ‘1’
8.14 PAYMENT
It selects either free vend or 4 different types of payment systems and protocols
The description of the system will appear on the LCD
0 FREE VEND
This can be used for free operation of the machine or to test the machine.
1 EXECUTIVE Sets the operation of the machine to Mars Executive
protocol
2 Parallel Sets the operation of the coin system in parallel
mode
3 PC Allows payments to be controlled by a PC based system
4 MDB Sets the operation of the machine to MDB Protocol.
8.15 DEVICE OPTIONS
This menu configures 5 additional options
To enable an Option Enter a “1” to inhibit it enter a “0”
The options available on this menu are:
Photo switch / Sensavend this enables or disables
the vend detection system if fitted
Elevator enables or disables the lift option
Presdosati only used if the In Cup drinks module is
fitted
Freezer enables or disables the refrigerator unit
60 categories Of Prices (the default number of different
prices is 20) with this option
selected up to 60 different prices can be set. Note price category
00 must always be set to 00
If “SensaVend” is activated. If a selection is made and the
product is not detected
the vend motor will make a complete turn; this will happen twice if needed.
If “SensaVend” does not detect any fall of product,
the motor of the selection is put
Out Of Service and the customer can make another selection
or press Coin Return
8.16 COMUNICATION & NET
All the Manea MSX series can be connected with peripheral devices through
which is possible
to program and to manage the machine from remote sites.
The connection can be made through serial cable or GPRS-GPS - Modems.
The cable has to be connected to the serial port of the EN0453 circuit board
and to the
computer running (SUPERVISOR) management software
To use the GPRS facility a suitable modem must be installed in the machine
8.17 RESET TO DEFAULT
From this submenu it is possible to re-install the factory settings
To leave this submenu without activating it press cancel
RESTORING THE ORIGINAL SETTINGS WILL ERASE ALL USER SETTINGS and
sales data lost
