11.00 CHECKING
The checking menu allows the user to run some tests on various functions
of the machine and to
check their correct operation.
Use the up and down keys to position the cursor over the sub menu and
press enter to
access the submenu. Use cancel to step out a menu
If certain features are not available on a machine then the checking
submenus are not available.
11.1 CHECK MOTORS
The test motors sub menu is used to check that all the motors are in the start
position.
Every motor drives a cam, a micro switch engages with the cam which has a
flat edge on part of the cam. This ensures that the motor always ends its cycle
in the start position. If it is necessary to move
the spiral round to vend a product more easily, gently pull on the spiral
and rotate it.
There are 4 different possible positions a spiral can be set to. If the software
fails to recognise a
motor the motor will not rotate
Check the following
Tray located square and level
1) The plug at the rear of the tray is pushed
firmly into the socket
2) The motor is plugged into the wiring loom
3) The motor is not jammed
4) The motor drive to the spiral is not broken
11.2 TEST MOTORS
Every time the machine is switched on or the door opened or shut the motors
are checked
All motors that are recognised are displayed on the screen and all enabled
motors are shown are
shown with the symbol ‘O’. All motors that are not enabled or not
recognised the sign ‘ –‘
If motors are not recognised, follow the actions described in 11.1
above
With the above option all or individual motors can be checked.
Vends cannot take place until the motors are recognised
11.3 COIN MECHANISM
NOT IN USE
11.4 DEFROST
Activating this option allows a manual defrost of the unit. It takes 3
minutes to run and
can be used to clear any excess ice that may have formed on the evaporator
11.5 ELEVATOR (LIFT)
This submenu can be used to test an elevator/lift when fitted
All aspects of the lift can be tested using this menu
Use the UP & DOWN arrow keys A and C and the intermediary
key B.
The Up arrow key will raise the lift and the DOWN arrow key lower the lift,
while the B key can
stop the system in any position.
While in the lowest part, travel is limited by the microswitch.
It is vital to stop the elevator/lift before reaching the maximum
height.
FAILURE TO DO SO CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELEVATOR/LIFT ASSEMBLY
The test can be interrupted in any position of travel in as the machine will
restart the elevator/lift from
its standby position
The elevator/lift test can be used both to verify the operation of the system
and to be able to load shelves that may be obstructed by the lift
11.6 PHOTOSWITCH/”Sens-a-Vend”
Use this Submenu to set up the vend detect system
You can use your hand to break the sensor beams to simulate an object falling.
If the detector is working correctly, the beam interruption of the detect
system will be seen on
the screen.
11.7 AUXILIARIES
With this submenu it is possible to verify the operation of the auxiliary
components of the machine by entering the following numbers.
